![]() If you pay a knight four gold coins during the day, they will take their squad of archers and set off towards the portal on that side of the island. ![]() This allows them to chip away at the hordes of enemies, and soften them up before they reach your final lines of walls and towers, and it's an extremely useful strategy in the right hands. If you can upgrade multiple walls to the top-tier stone, then Knights will stay there to weaken the enemy with their archers, and pull back to the next wall before that one crumbles. This is their achilles heel, but also their biggest strength. Knights will pull back when a wall reaches 1/2 or 3/4s damage, depending on the upgrade level of the wall. Knights will wait outside the walls during day, resting right under your banner, and will pull back inside the walls as night approaches. Knights will gather up a small squad of archers, usually somewhere from 4 or 6, which will proceed to back them up in combat. ![]() ![]() Knights are basically your own method of fighting back against the portals/monsters they spawn, and are truly the only way to actually "Secure" the island, unless you have a cliff portal, which you cannot destroy. ![]()
